About the Position:

The HR & Payroll Specialist aids with and facilitates the human resource processes and administers bi-weekly payroll across the portfolio with all associated responsibilities. This position oversees all state tax related reporting and entry into the payroll system. This role provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
  • Acts as a liaison for the support of onboarding and hiring efforts across all Voyager entities to align processes and procedures
  • Acts as a liaison to operating companies in the use of applicable human resource and payroll systems
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. in ADP for related timecard and reporting needs
  • Prepare and execute payroll for all business entities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Oversees all applicable state tax registrations and preparation
  • Provide additional support to the Director of Human Resources as needed by the company

  • Familiarity with payroll management in ADP.
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like ADP, BambooHR and PeopleSoft
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and full cycle recruiting.
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll processing procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • At least four years of payroll processing and state tax registration management
  • Human Resource or Payroll credential preferred

This position will work a Hybrid schedule with two days in office and three days remote.
